What does the Summer Fee Waiver cover?

The Summer Fee Waiver covers the program fee and roundtrip economy travel. You must work with GEO to book your flights – do NOT book your own travel.

If plane tickets are not covered in your Fee, GEO will provide instructions to book your flights which will be covered by the first-year fee waiver.

Does the Summer Fee Waiver cover tuition?

No, it does not cover tuition. Students are responsible for tuition. However, financial aid, including scholarships, does apply to tuition. Please contact Student Financial Services to discuss coverage for their specific case.

When can the Summer Fee Waiver be used?

The Summer Fee Waiver can only be used during Summer 1 or Summer 2 of a student’s first year at Northeastern.
