Stay Connected with the Honors Community.

In addition to Honors LLCs for our first-year students, the John Martinson Honors Program provides a variety of opportunities for students of all years to connect with each other and Honors faculty and staff throughout the year.

Honors LLC Showcase

Our annual LLC Showcase provides each Honors LLC with an opportunity to present interactive displays highlighting the activities they did that year.

Office Programming

The Honors Program hosts a variety of fun events in our office located at 150 Richards Hall throughout the year. These events can range from holiday celebrations, food-tasting parties, to end of year study breaks!

Student Leadership

Honors is home to a suite of student leadership groups that provide undergraduates the ability to connect with and support the Honors community.

Honors Book Club

This student-led group nominates books they’d like to read and two to three selections are made by popular vote. Honors provides all members with the books to attend regular meetings.

HEIST (Honors Exchange of Ideas, Skills, & Talents)

Every year, Honors hosts HEIST (the Honors Exchange of Ideas, Skills, & Talents)! In this learning festival, students design and present their own workshops to their peers on a topic or skill they are excited about. Honors students learn from their peers as they attend a variety of workshops of their choice.

Check back for more information about next year’s HEIST applications here!

Northeastern Cultural Centers

The undergraduate experience is different for every student, and it is essential to provide spaces for community to form. We work diligently with the Cultural Centers at Northeastern to increase access and visibility of intercultural and community programming for our students, encouraging them towards personal and professional development as they create their networks.
