Use Your Existing Research for Honors Requirements.

The Independent Research Petition form provides students in the John Martinson Honors Program the opportunity to have previous research experience(s) that have not earned credit to be used to fulfill an Honors requirement.

Overview

Open to all Honors students, the Independent Research Petition allows students to share their research experience with the Honors team to potentially earn credit towards completing an Honors requirement.

Students cannot earn credit for a research experience that has already rewarded credit. A list of examples can be found in the tab-down below.

Independent Research Petitions are reviewed at the beginning of each semester, before registration for the next semester, and prior to graduation.
